Control Panel 1 - The Hepsia web hosting CP is a normal tool only in combination with the Debian Linux Operating System and is delivered at no cost. With Hepsia you can host unmetered hostnames under one account. This is feasible owing to Hepsia's powerful Domain Manager platform. The other web hosting Control Panel interfaces, i.e. cPanel and DirectAdmin, are available only in combination with CentOS. As opposed to Hepsia, with them you must have 2 separate user accounts. This is so, since cPanel and DirectAdmin do not deliver any domain registration/transfer/administration functionalities. If you select Ubuntu as an Operating System for your dedicated hosting server, there will be no Control Panel opportunity.
Hosted Domains 2 - unmetered domain names can be hosted with all offered hosting Control Panel interfaces, but only with Hepsia you can register/transfer/administer your web site names under one hosting user account. Unluckily, the cPanel/DirectAdmin web hosting CP interfaces do not present such function at all - there is no Domain Manager section and as a consequence they need TWO different user accounts: one domain name management/billing/support account and one site administration user account (i.e. the actual cPanel/DirectAdmin hosting Control Panel).
Operating System (OS) 3 - you will observe that the Hepsia hosting Control Panel can work with Debian Linux only. It's free of cost to have it on your dedicated server. Hepsia is not available with CentOS or Ubuntu. The cPanel and DirectAdmin web hosting Control Panel tools are offered solely with the CentOS Operating System. Neither of them is available with Debian or Ubuntu.
